Brain fog / low energy days

I’m having one today. All zoom-d out and the weather is damp and grey. I’m so bored of wfh and no social interaction. All I want to do is sleep. Don’t even feel I can focus on a book / Netflix let alone work. Tell me it’s ok to have a few hours where I just do nothing???

For context, I’ve been averaging 6 hours plus a day on Zoom and conference calls and working most evenings to clear emails too. I just feel like I’ve hit a wall and am out of energy and ideas.

Yes. what would feel like a treat?

Youngatheart00 · 08/07/2020 12:36

Going back to bed and just hiding under the duvet would feel like the biggest treat. I feel so wiped out I almost feel ill.

Have you had covid?

Youngatheart00 · 08/07/2020 12:39

No to covid, not to my knowledge.

I don’t have a fever, cough etc. Just brain fog and body feels like a dead weight.

Could you take a walk in the fresh air? Flowers

Youngatheart00 · 08/07/2020 12:44

@BrutusMcDogface that would often be my suggestion to others too! But it’s pissing down and I just can’t summon the motivation. Maybe when it stops and there’s that lovely post rain smell.

I know how you feel but I also know that nothing lifts me out of a fog better than being outside! Sometimes I just open the patio doors and breathe it in. You could try that?!

I had a wander in the garden, it does feel better. I think being cooped up in the box room for work all day every day is getting to me and I feel literally suffocated
