Childminder or nursery in September?

Hi. I'm undecided about whether to continue with DD (2) at the childminder or start her at the local nursery that connects to the school. She likes the childminder but from September there won't be any older children/those her age and we thought nursery would be good from a socialisation aspect. However, the nursery is a busy setting with a higher chance of cross-infection whereas its pretty quiet at the childminder's. She would go 1-2 days a week and with grandparents other days. Any opinions?

I’d keep her there another year. They don’t need the socialisation aspect at 2. If she’s settled and happy then that is great- and a bonus of childminders maybe being a bit less germy than a big nursery!
