Super dull - DD freezer open - do I chuck food?

DD got an ice cream out the freezer and the next day I realised the door was not properly shut. Contents partially defrosted.

Chuck out meat and fish and assume chips, vege etc will be fine?

Don’t chuck the meat and fish out. Finish defrosting and cook. You can then refreeze (e.g make a batch of bolognaise)

Agreed, defrost and cook the meat into meal. Totally safe to refreeze once cooked

Ah too late...I just shut the door...

The vege etc will be fine either way?

We're mostly vegetarian so it's only fish fingers and maybe some sausage in there
