I'm due my first statement and payment next week.
When making the claim I thought I was due 200 from my previous employment so included that.
Long story short I won't be having that money so if I notify them today about that will it stop my claim happening next week and start again or anything? I can't risk that but obviously want to get it right

You won't need to contact them at all.
They will know what you've been paid and will adjust your claim accordingly.
It's a nightmare when you first claim but it's so much better than tax credits. It's not estimated.
I would just wait for your statement and ring then if it's not right.

Ah Thankyou. I waited for a wage slip yesterday and it didn't come. That's good hopefully it will pan out
