6 month old night wakings. Sad face.

Hi all, hoping for some tips or some idea of when this new sleep hell might end 😩

My 6 month old, who previously slept better with only 1 or 2 wakes at around 3 months (oh the sweet memory of a 5-6hour block!!) declined at the 4 month regression which was expected, but has stepped this up over the last 3 weeks or so to her now waking every 2 hours. Each time she wakes if not fed she goes wild - we’ve tried partner going in to settle her but after lots of crying and screaming we give in and I feed her (BF) just so we can all go back to sleep. But I’m really struggling to cope with such frequent wakings and feeding again... I’m pretty sure this has become a habit rather than hunger... I’m also struggling with the conflicting things I read about feeding to sleep being a negative sleep habit and feeding to sleep being natural and okay! I constantly feel like I’m doing something wrong...

Her bed routine has been consistent since about week 10 - wind down, bath, pjs, story, feed and down. We have blackout blinds and Ewan the sheep on shush, in her cot in her own room. We know she can settle herself from previous sleep and watching her on the monitor at nap times. She mostly has 3 naps a day ranging from 30 mins to 1hr 30.

She is being very active seeing signs of her wanting to get up and crawl, rolling about, has broke her first tooth and weaning - so I know all of this can be unsettling. But I am really hoping there is a magic fix to reduce her night wakings 😩😩😩

I found an old thread from 2014 on here where lots of people seemed to be in the same boat but the only people who said it stopped was by 11 months and I just don’t think I can cope for that long! Any help would be GREAT ♥️
