Where would you go on honeymoon?

Getting married next March. Looking to go outside Europe on honeymoon, somewhere hot, ideally lovely beaches, 1 week duration, budget approx £1,000 or thereabouts. Any ideas?

The Gambia is nice.

We went to Dubai last March and loved it. We stayed at the Jumeriah Beach Resort - the weather was lovely, food and drink were amazing and although there was lots to do outside of the resort, we only ventured out twice - once to the Burj Khalifa (to eat at the restaurant on the 122nd floor) and once to visit the Marina (pier 7 - bars and restaurants)

For our honeymoon (July) we went to Santorini and that was gorgeous. We stayed at Canaves Oia Suites but we also hired a car for the day to drive down to the other end of the island. It has the most amazing little taverna restaurants and beautiful cocktail bars to watch the sunset.
