This morning my neighbour informs me that he is planning to put a roof hatch in his flat roof when he repairs it this week. His flat roof is directly underneath my bedroom window due to the old design of our houses his property is completely land locked so to access his gutters which he has not bothered with for the almost 2 years we have been here he decided this hatch and possibly a roof light is essential.By doing this he can pop up anytime he likes onto his roof and see straight into my bedroom. He informs me he will be doing it from Inside his property so I can’t physically stop him, He is an absolute cowboy and has breeched planning and building regs left right and centre and has delayed for years completing work I worry that the ultimate plan is a roof terrace which would be hugely intrusive! Anyway anyone know what to do next I’m really not happy about it and said so he said he would get planning anyway. We have agreed access to my garden for him to correct other outstanding planning issues so access is not an issue short of taking a week off work and standing guard I’m terrified of what I will be coming home from work to!

There isn't anything you can do if it is for access. It is however unlikely he would get PP for a roof terrace.
