DH and I are planning to buy our first car in the next couple of weeks. We've always lived in big cities and haven't needed one until now.
We have a two year old DD, who up until now has been in a Maxi Cosi seat on the rare occasions we've rented a car etc. It's for up to 13kg and she's 12.5, so I'm looking into what's next.
I'm feeling overwhelmed! I know I want extended rear-facing, but I'm feeling confused about going for up to 18kg or 25kg. I really wanted an Isofix seat, for ease and because I thought they were much safer, but I've seen that no 25kg seats are Isofix.
So I'm now questioning what's best - up to 18kg and Isofix, or up to 25kg and belted? Any thoughts?
DD is 68th percentile for weight right now.
