Queues for Primark - still horrendous?

DD is desperate to go shopping and to be fair hasn't been near a high street for 4 months.

Thinking about going into Cambridge today but just I'm just wondering how lengthy the queues are to get into shops like Primark? Are we talking hours?

In my town there's no queues anymore, we walked straight in. They've got a pretty good set up with hand gel and dots on the floor.

The most annoying thing is not being able to try stuff on.

No que at the large store just outside York, wasn't busy inside either.

I went to my nearest Primark (Kingston, so a big one in a big shopping centre) nearly 2 weeks ago and there was a 3 minute queue. Longest queue was for H&M which was about 6 minutes.

Lakeside - has three levels .
They were only using the ground level as entry/exit
Inside wasn't as busy as I thought it would be .
But the clothes I wanted to look at were by the queue ( there must've been 20 ish peole queuing) most of the queuers weren't wearing masks so I CBA rifling through.
