Am I over reacting about not wanting to go away for a few nights?

We have time off booked in July. DH wants to go 400 miles to visit his Elderly Aunt which we usually do 3 times a year. I've said I don't think it's a good idea. DH says that the hotel opens about 10 days before we are due to go so it must be alright if they are opening Hmm. I think it's fucking stupid. But then I have pmt and I am looking for a bit of an argument tonight! 😂 oh and we'd be taking 2 kids...

I second Ernie's idea. Tell him you're absolutely not going but he's welcome to take DCs. Something tells me he'll decide to stay Grin

PS you're well within your rights not to want to go, but it's hard to tell if you're over reacting without knowing why you're against it. Let us know Smile

Are anxious about cv19? If so, can you not opt for a self catering instead?
As then you would all be more isolated than in a hotel or guest house.
