Best tape for sealing moving boxes

Moving house. Stuff is being taken by a shipping company. They've specified the type of boxes, which I've bought. However, I'm worried the the tape I bought isn't up to the job (it's Fixman brown sticky tape, 2 inches wide - the shipping company didn't specify anything for the tape).

Could anyone recommend a really sturdy tape, please?

Never, ever buy cheap. Whether that is steak, garden hoses, fairy lights for the Christmas tree, breakfast cereal or summer holidays. Cheap lets you down, and you spend more time sorting things out. And time is money, as they say.

Ditch Fixman. That is as fit for international moving as Donald Trump is for leading the World's greatest nation. Which is, actually, Iceland. And he doesn't even figure there.

Go and buy some of that thick, 3-inch wide, sticky silvery builders pipe-work tape. It sticks to your hands like a winning lottery ticket and when you peel it off you need to have had 18 shredded wheat for breakfast otherwise you ain't going nowhere.

Definitely that silver tape, it’s so sticky.
