Guys please help. This was done 3 years ago. The walls are now duck egg. The photo frame is no longer up. I've ended up with a large plain wall and 2 sections of wall also plain.

The clock and frames are also gone now!

Basically kids have limited me. I'm clueless to what would look nice as it seems really plain and boring. Got loads of photos. Just need frames. Any ideas? Thanks

Definitely Add artwork or prints to to the walls, bigger the better. Fireplace put some photo frames, faux floral arrangement, orchid etc. Add cushions to your sofa. Introduce a coffee table or side tables.

Yes, big photos are much easier to enjoy than those teeny collages.
Side tables so you have somewhere to perch a cup of tea,
Sofa cushions, A nice rug, some plants, nice scented candles, not clutter for cluttered sake but thinks you like.
I think duck egg is rather nice, I have duck egg curtains. If you are on a budget dunhelm is great for cushions and rugs

Thanks ladies. Do you think artificial plants would look nice on the mantel piece? I think I'll look into cushions again. I had some but the kids were forever chucking them about so I got rid.
