Hi, just after some advice. I'm looking at either series 3 or 5.

From what I can see online, there's little difference between the series 3 and series 5. Other than about £200 and the series 5 does ECG, which I'm not bothered about.

Can anyone tell me what the differences are between the two and if they are worth the extra money?

Thanks.

I just upgraded from the series 2 to the series 5, for me it was worth it - the key thing being that the series 5 has the 'always on' function whereas its predecessors didn't (i.e. you had to kind of flick your wrist a bit and raise your arm to see what the time was before series 5). Series 5 has a slightly bigger display even though the size of the face is the same.

I chose the series 5 because I would have paid extra for the strap I wanted on the 3 so that bought the price difference down a bit. Also because of the face size and always on function, and it made sense (to me) to pay more for the latest model. I prefer to buy the newest model and use them until they break or just stop working - I don’t buy new every couple of years, just because something new comes out (for example I went from an iPhone 6 to an X, and the 6 was originally DH’s that he upgraded, and I only got rid of the 6 because I cracked the screen)

Meant display size, not face size.

Thanks. At the moment I have a Fitbit charge HR and it's ok, I just want a change and more workout options while in use without having to manually log it, iyswim.

I'm not fussed about the always on thing either.
I basically want it to do all that my Fitbit does, but with more workout options. I did think about just going for the 5 and hopefully that'd mean it'd last longer. I've had my Fitbit for about 4 years.
