What do regret not buying?

When I was 18 I visited Hastings with my then-boyfriend and in a little antiques shop there was a small brass statue, about 22 inches or something of a woman in jeans, topless, with her hands in her hair. It was just the right amount of trashy and I loved it.

It was about £120 or something and I was stating my first proper job a month later and my boyfriend said I should just buy it. I had the money from what I'd saved from my pot washing job and wouldn't have anything much else to buy when I started my full time job but the sensible me just couldn't spend it. I'm now 28 and still wish I'd bought it.

It's like when Rachel wants the girly lamp from Me Heckles apartment in Friends I guess. It was awful, but great at the same time. Even in my own head it sounds awful.

A Jack Vettriano painting on holiday, hugely reduced. We could have afforded it but were worried about getting it home. It was too late when we found out we could have had it shipped.

A bag and top from Kenzo in about 2000. They were amazing, but I wasn't earning for about six months, and decided I couldn't afford them.
I lived off my savings fine, and could have managed them, but they'd gone by the time I decided I could afford them after all.

An amazing dress I saw in TKMaxx, for DD, prom dress type by an Italian company that make very £££££ children's clothes. This was about £14 instead of £250, but it was about 4 years too big for her... So I left it.
Went back the next day, but it was gone of course.
It was the perfect style/colour for her too, now we're five years down the line.

I missed out on a Magimix on EBay a couple of weeks ago. It was a Buy it Now listing and I could have had it if I'd only increased my offer by £10. Silly me for being stingy but good news for the person who wasn't and got it for a bargain price.
