Going from 2 to 3 kids?

I'd like opinions on this.

We have 2DC, both under 5 and one of each gender. We both would like another in the future but I'd rather do it sooner so they're closer in age. However, I wondered if people could tell me the realities of it. Is it a case of one always being left out? DC have a beautiful bond but would another change their dynamic? If people who did this could tell me what it's really like then I'd really appreciate it. I think I need to take a lot into consideration.

My two boys were 4 and 3 when dd arrived ds1 had just started school and ds2 was at playgroup in the mornings so we spent a lot of time in the car and i used to feed and change her in between, and then put her down for a sleep, and get housework done, so it was hard, but manageable. With them being close in age they always played very well together and got on really well. Now they are grown up they still are really close.
