What's the crack with temperature and isolation?

My toddler is prone to tonsillitis, as is my eldest son.
The toddler (18 months) has had probably 6 bouts of tonsillitis so far.

He started drooling heavily recently, looked pale and felt hot. Looked at his throat, white pus, so he had a course of AB's.

Now my eldest has the same symptoms, do we have to set isolate even if it's obviously another bug?

Does your eldest also have white pus in his throat?

If he has the same symptoms presumably he'll need antibiotics too, so your GP can advise when you speak to them?

megatron yeah he does.

I took him for a coronavirus test.
I made the appointment at 7.20, we were there at 8 and home by 8.30, so efficient!

Thought we'd better be safe than sorry.
