Hi :)

I am looking to buy my friend a football kit for his baby due in October- question do I go for 0-3 months or 3-6 months. I've never bought baby clothes before would they grow out of it really quickly if 0-3 or would 3-6 be too big for ages. I want it to be special as their first kit and will get it personalised. It's going to cost 50+ so want to get it right. They are having a boy If that makes any difference?

Thank you!

Unclear why the sex of the baby matters, altho in theory boys do measure generally larger...

0-3 would cover them up to 14lb so really the length of time in it depends on how big he is at birth, so in theoryonger in 3-6 BUT do you want it to be his FIRST one and could someone else do the Same? But its gonna be Winter and he's a baby so it's only going to be out in him to take photos and show people l, not for trips out in the pushchair without a big pram suit on top!

I'd prob get the 0-3 so it's a look how tiny you once were thing

Oh perfect thank you I think you're right I'll get 0-3 to be the look how tiny. I thought maybe boys came out bigger on average maybe as they are on average taller but I do have no clue. Thank you for your help

Personally I'd get 3-6 as if he's born in October he won't get a chance to wear it in the winter months x

Also so many people gift 0-3 baby will have so many clothes that won't get worn!

Oo that's true as well. It's so hard to decide I'm at a loss with any baby stuff! Haha

But 3-6 would be in theory Jan-March, so still not shorts weather, hence my comment about it being for photos.

Yeah technically boys are bigger but only in average so who knows 😂

Normal clothes I would always get bigger (we were gifted so much 0-3 but not much bigger so you suddenly get to 3 months and have to do a dash to tesco Grin) but special outfits like football kit I’d get small 0-3. Even if it’s cold they’ll be inside a lot so can wear it indoors.

I wouldn't buy 0-3 month. As an idea, my 9 week old outgrow all his 0-3 months 2 weeks ago. He's now in 3-6 months. I wouldn't dress a 0-7 week old in a football kit in the winter as even indoors they would be freezing (mine has worn a sleepsuit and vest in May and June). Mine just wears vests or sleepsuits mainly at this age. The shorts and tshirts sets havent been worn yet.

I would buy 6-12 month. That way it will be summer time and him big enough to wear
