Where do you iron?

Just wondering what room people do their ironing in? I currently do this in the bedroom but apparently that’s not the best place to do it (don’t have a utility or linen room)

In a very large walk in cupboard upstairs, ironing board is permanently up, I take my iPad and iron away to my heart’s content!

Like many others, I rarely iron so just the odd bits in the kitchen.

In the spare bedroom, and it’s easier to hang things in our rooms from there

In my bedroom. It’s a large room and then it’s handy for putting clothes away in the different family member’s cupboards.

I have the board facing the TV and so can stand and watch something at the same time.

I enjoy ironing and don’t mind doing it. I can’t understand people who are happy to go out in crumpled clothes. My team manager doesn’t iron her blouses and tps and she looks a mess and like she’s slept in them.

Outside as I usually only iron summer clothes. If I have to in the winter then in the living room.

Living room with something decent on tv. I iron everything for six of us I love a nicely creased sleeve.

I iron in the kitchen. I use the cleared sides to hold the finished articles.I get pleasure from seeing the laundry basket of dried things being transformed into neat piles.
I watch films and series on the Echo show while I iron and the whole weeks worth takes about an hour or so for us all and then its done. I cant be doing with a panicked search for something clean and presentable to wear before we can leave the house. When I iron Im also checking the garment over for stains or grease or holes. I can sort this out while I iron before they are needed .

I iron in the front room, with the telly or the radio on. Doesn't take long.

DH has taken to ironing in the last year. We used to have arguments over how creased his t shirts were and now he irons his and the kids clothes every morning even if we aren’t going out.

Ironing board now lives in our bedroom which is big enough that it can just be left up. If what I am wearing needs an iron I just do it when he is done but that is only a couple of times a week. I don’t see the point of ironing and then putting away as things always get a big creased in the cupboard or drawers.

DH irons in the lounge in front of the TV and manages to take up the whole room whilst he does his pile. He has the most as he wears at least 1 proper shirt a day.
I iron in the bedroom about once every 3 weeks as most of my clothes don’t need ironing and I have at least 3 weeks of outfits or occasionally in the kitchen if I just need something pressed before I go out for the day.
DD hardly irons and if she does it is in the kitchen usually while I am trying to cook and then she leaves the ironing board up

In the bedroom while watching tv.
I don’t mind it at all and it’s better than looking like you’ve just rolled out of bed fully clothed.

I don't iron but on the rare occasion dp wants to iron something he prefers to do it in the middle of the kitchen when I'm preparing a meal / cleaning the cupboards / similar. Then the iron has to be left on the side to cool down for 3 days.

I iron rarely. But it was usually in the sitting room. Last time I did it in my bedroom. Game changer. So handier to hang stuff straight up.

No where! When I had to iron I used to do it in the living in front of the TV.

Spare bedroom

I have an ironing fairy, she collects on a Saturday and returns it on a Sunday afternoon.

I don't iron unless absolutely necessary, But if needing to , it would be in my shed ! I keep an iron on a shelf in the shed,and I have a very old wooden ironing board in the shed also, my Grandfather made it in the 1940's.

In the kitchen, in front of the tv & use the clear sides for the piles.
I quite like ironing, find it relaxing.

I haven’t ironed in years, DP does it every Sunday morning in the lounge in front of the telly.
