One of our colleagues will be leaving soon and is heading off to train to be a teacher.

Are there any presents which you think would be helpful for her new profession or during training?

If your looking for something practical :
Posh stationary - diary, notebook, pencil case
Chillys water bottle
Nice umbrella
Tote bag
Lots of her favourite alcohol...

Or something Like Massage/pamper voucher she can save for when the stress mounts up

When I left my job to train as a teacher, my sisters bought me a posh pencil case with highlighters, paracetamol, berocca, tissues, hand sanitizer, mug, tea bags, posh drinking chocolate sachets etc. I loved it, it made me feel very cared for.

If they are going to primary, a very good desk pencil sharpener and some "Ms X thinks I'm magic" type stickers" would always come in handy, plus highlighters and post-its in interesting colours.

You can get reward stickers made with the teacher’s name on. Eg “ Miss Jones says top effort”. I’d have loved those when I was training.

Otherwise, her own laminator and a million sheets to go in it.
Nice stationery.
A voucher for Amazon.
Lots of us buy resources from “ Teachers Pay Teachers” online. They do gift vouchers.
