Washing machine cleaning.

I need to clean my washing machine out as it’s getting a bit pongy. Usually I would buy a product especially for the machine but I’m wondering if I can use flash multi-purpose cleaner? I’m unsure whether or not it will ruin my machine. Has anyone used and it’s been okay?

You should clean the door seal, I'd do it with a mild detergent, and the drawers, then run the hottest wash empty with vinegar in the powder drawer.

or even soda crystals on that hot wash.

and always use half or less of the recommended quantity of detergent, and never fabric conditioner.
