I know I'm really late to the party...

I've seen adverts for local companies offering kids dance classes etc on zoom. I'd like to try to sign up for DD.

I'm guessing that seeing the class on the TV screen would be clearest, as that is the biggest screen that we have. Is there a way to have Zoom on the tv? It's not a smart TV, but we have a PlayStation 3 so can get things like You Tube.

The other option would be the laptop, but I'm not sure how clearly she will be able to watch a laptop screen while dancing.

Is everything on Zoom 'live' or can you watch a pre-recorded class at anytime?

Any tips for a clueless beginner?

You should be able to connect though a HDMI cable from the laptop to the tv

I use my tablet for zoom exercise classes. A laptop should be fine to use. It is filmed in real time so I don't think you can watch pre recorded sessions

The teacher should want to see the students, so DD needs to be in front of a camera.

It might be possible to connect the laptop to the TV so she can see the teacher and other students and position the laptop so she is in front of the camera so the teacher can see how she's getting on.
