Children’s waterproof shoes. What?

I always have this problem!

Have a shoe emergency with middle one, age ten. Last shoes were fake leather Nike (outlet). So somewhat waterproof.

All I can find now that’s slightly cool and not too expensive is mesh, which gets wet so easily. What do yours wear for pottering about in longish damp grass and woods etc. Don’t think we quite need full on walking boots, but we have had them in the past.

We have walking shoes from Decathlon. They’re comfortable, waterproof, cheap and perfect for walks in the woods on a wet day.

Yeah, we’ve had similar before. I was kind of hoping for something really all purpose so we don’t have to make the decision about what to wear in case of a change of plan. Maybe I’m looking for something that doesn’t exist.

We got a pair of Aesics leather trainers from their website. Pretty good for walking
