How do you deal with neighbours who play their music all the time.

Hey I am getting really fed up with my new next door neighbour who also works from home doing noisy work an singing along to his music, droning I call it. As I am always at home, especially due to the govenment vulnerable scheme. Plus being kept up till 3 a week ago, it took me four nights to catch up on my sleep. He doesn't want to talk to me I have tried. I am finally giving him a blast of my very powerful stereo. Fed up of hearing him all the time.

Them is could be a case of keeping a diary and contacting your local council / environment department for formal action.

People who blast their music without a care for anyone else are fundamentally unreasonable people - who therefore cannot be reasoned with. I think you need to be looking at moving.

Report to the council maybe but it depends on how loud he has it? You have my sympathies though it's horrible

what a shithead. If you've asked and been ignored next step is the council. The bar is very high though as this is a country full of shitheads. Fighting back with your own noise may work.

Let's face it, no pig like this ever actually said 'oops, sorry, I'll turn it down' any more than they say 'is my dog disturbing you? I'm really sorry, I'll make sure it goes to day care'.

Thankyou, It is hell, I am listening out for it and breathe a sigh of relief when he is out. I think because I am a quiet person he thinks he can do what he wants. I have put up with it all lockdown and now the government say I am one of the people who has to stay in another month. Maybe i have to get tougher and thicker skinned and give it back to him when he is quiet.

Its gone quiet now, just letting him know how loud it can be from this side if i need it to be.
