Any good buys in Morrisons?

I've only ever been to my local Morrisons once or twice for a few reasons but they've started doing click and collect so we've decided to give it a go and booked a slot for Saturday.

What's their own brand stuff generally like? Anything in particular we should try? I'm vegetarian so any recommendations for their veggie food for bonus points Grin

Thanks.

Pretty much everything to be honest. I was a Sainsbury's girl through and through until a few months ago. Morrison's has good quality own brand bread And a host of other stuff and most of it seems to be a quid. They have in store butchers and fishmongers and florists all offering really nice stuff. Booze is good value too. I'm saving a lot of moneySmile

Their French bread is the business.

Chilled pizzas
Own brand mini bottles of tonic
Chocolate covered rice cakes

Actually, it's a pretty good. I'm a fan.

i admit i used to be snobby about it - during lockdown i have consistently found Morrisons (closest and less crowded) to be the best in terms of quality, availability of things and their own brand delicatessen stuff gorgeous.
in the "great flour shortage" i could buy any flour there as they bagged it themselves in their bread bags (shortage was due to lack of bags not flour).

Hummus crisps - can't get the sea salt ones for love nor money anywhere else - always available in Morrisons

Literally just had some of their saussicon (sp) and it's beautiful

Their ‘wonky’ fruit and veg range is really good quality, just odd mix of sizes. You can get a bag of around 8 ‘wonky’ avocados for around £2.80 and ripen at home . We make homemade guacamole most weeks now. Also love their own brand stone baked pitta breads.

Meat is good and cheese.
Rolls from the bakery- love ciabatta and triangular beetroot ones.
Haddock , frozen sweetcorn is really sweet.
Fresh chilled orange juice.

Their cheese and onion pasties are delicious

Their pitta breads are the best by far from any supermarket and only 50 p a pack. I like the garlic and coriander version best, but sadly that seems to have fallen victim to coronavirius range simplification syndrome.

Another vote for their wonky avocados and other wonky stuff too. I like their fresh soups.

Their cream and butter are lovely. I don’t shop their often as it’s not near to me but all their stuff was tasty.

Best croissants around
