Unsupervised in paddling pool? How old, how long?

How old would you leave two children unsupervised in a paddling pool and how long without checking on them?

Mine are 3 and 5 and I'd stay where I could see and hear them, but I wouldn't sit right next to them watching them. E.g. I'd be in the kitchen cooking/tidying

At that age idiots leave them unsupervised if I could trust them to keep an eye on each other and shout for help/run for me in the unlikely event one of them slipped and knocked themselves out.

@cheeseismydownfall

Totally depends on how old they are?
Well that's what the OP is asking! Grin

@poupeediop I guess it's general water confidence rather than swimming that makes a difference - not panicking for example if they slip and submerge. But that doesn't help if there's an accident which is why I always listen to mine and go out every few minutes. My 6 year old is a better swimmer than most adults but she's still (obviously) supervised around water.
