Plastic surgery abroad.

A friend has had a neck lift in Lithuania and looks great, which has got me thinking about going for a procedure.

Has anyone else had a cheaper but professional service from abroad? If so any recommendations of places and surgeons is welcome.

There was a program about this fairly recently where women were going to places like Turkey to get all kinds of treatments done. I think it was made to raise awareness after a couple of women died from these treatments abroad.

It was one of the most unethical things I’ve ever watched with women being sent back to the UK in horrendous pain and a couple ending up in hospital when they got back due to infections. They were talking these women into all kinds of procedures they really didn’t need to have done and it was seriously invasive surgery.

Please be careful and do your research with this.

@turnedouttoes

Exactly why id be worried. I had a look on the Lithuania website - the ‘independent last trustpilot and google reviews seemed suspiciously amazing.

Just had a quote back from Harley Street which wasn’t as expensive as I had thought.

Still interested to see if there’s any amazing surgeons abroad at half the price (wishful thinking I know Confused).
