If facebook didn't exist, how many people would remember your birthday? (Feeling sorry for myself, if you can't tell)

Quite a few but I have a good memory- theres people whose birthdays I remember but don’t wish a happy birthday as they never remember mine ( petty I know)

Deliberately took my birthday off to check that, the answer was very disappointing.

Made myself very upset, had a good think, realised I needed to organise my own celebrations if that’s what I wanted in the future.

I look at all the people who get big surprises, special treats, and are seemingly cherished and I feel like I don’t really exist as a proper person. I’ve done it for others which makes it worse I think. I wouldn’t dream of saying this in reality, I sound pitiful, but it’s the way I feel.

When is your birthday? Do you have a plan?
