Boring question about Ariel pods?

We have just changed from using Persil/Fairy back to biological washing 'stuff'. Sometimes the clothes have a bit of a smell about them, as if they have been left wet in the basket for too long, but this is just out the machine hence the change to a bio cleaner.

Do you just use the pod and nothing else? I have been using persil non bio or Fairy along with lenor and Dettol laundry cleanser and I'm not sure if I should still use some lenor with the pod.

Sorry for a really boring thread btw, laundry isn't exactly exciting!

Ariel pods don't have fabric softener in them so if you want the lenor smell you would need to add it too.

Thanks. I'm not too fussed about the smell of Lenor I am going to see how it goes without. So long as my clothes still come out of the drier and don't need ironed
