Has anyone managed to do this? I have MS and due to complications I need to drop to a couple of feeds a day, but I'm hoping to be able to stabilisze and build back up. is this possible?

How old is your baby? If you mean, is it possible for you to replace those feeds with formula for now and then switch back to bf later, assuming you are continuing to bf other times? Yes, perfectly possible, as long as your baby is 3-4 months or older.

You will find though that babies are always changing, so feeds get dropped all the time. You could drop feeds for a time (replaced with a bottle) but by the time you come back to wanting to only bf, your baby no longer needs those feeds anyway. A 4 month old who starts solids in 2 months may then drop down to 4 feeds anyway and that may be all you need to do.

My baby is only 9 weeks :( I'm gutted to have to drop feeds but we've tried everything. I am just hoping to be able to cut down to only a couple of feeds a day (he already has a couple of formula feeds now) and then if I get better start feeding more. I heard it was very tough to build the supply back up...
