Anyone got a battery operated table lamp?

We have a dark corner in our living room - but no sockets there for a proper lamp. I can't bear extensions running round the room.

I am struggling to find any battery operated lamps that aren't kids night lights.

Can anyone help?

I only have a kid's lamp, but be warned that it eats batteries. It would be an absolute pain to use as anything more than an occasional night light. Perhaps that's why they don't do them?

It's only for the odd evening 7-9pm ish - we don't put the lamps on til the kids have gone to bed, then we tend to go to bed around 9/9.30

What about googling rechargeable lamps? I can see some when I look that up?

I have this on a table. It is rechargeable and gives a good light. I take it outside too.

Oh rechargeable is a great idea.

That one linked is great!

They do exist, but it depends on your budget. If you want to splash out on something gorgeous, get a Tetatet or a Louis Poulsen portable Panthella.

There are lots of USB lamps that you can plug into a rechargeable power bank.

I’ve got one that you plug in to recharge and then I put it into a lantern like this so you can’t see it.

I've got this one in dd's room. It's actually a pretty good lamp, touch or remote operated, and it's really quite bright on the highest setting. I appreciate you might not want the funky colours though!

I'd been eyeing this one: www.maisonsdumonde.com/UK/en/p/portable-led-lantern-205361.htm

I bought one from Dunelm for my children’s bedroom, I’m not sure if they still have them but it’s like a standard lamp.
Other options reading light/salt lamps/string lights/led candles
