I'm considering lots of options at the moment, and I'm seriously thinking about home educating my primary school age children longer-term. Does anyone know where I start with this? I'm excited but nervous. I want to do it properly! Thanks for any information.

There's a Home Ed board under the Education topic.

The home ed board is a great support.
Have a look round or put up a post and you will get advice that suits your needs.

Where are you? Thr process to deregister is slightly different from from Engalnd to Scotland for instance.

Also find your local Facebook group, they can be really useful at signposting to meet ups and group activities.

I'm in England. Good idea about a local Facebook group - I'll look into that now. Thanks.

Im in Scotland so you will get better advice on the HE board on how to deregister in your area. Good luck with it all. Smile
