Super soft linen bedding?

My brother gets really hot apparently so I thought I'd get him a very boring birthday present of rum and linen bedding Confused I have no idea which is a good make though, has to be soft. Can anyone recommend a really nice brand?

I've got some from Soak and Sleep, though there is definitely an element of it needing to be washed to soften up, but I think that's the nature of linen ( my dresses are the same)

You could always look at bamboo as I believe that is immediately soft

I love bamboo but he said 'it looks like silk, I don't like silk' 🙄

I'll look again though, linen is ridiculously expensive!

Meant to add, ours is some years old and going strong. I get very hot at night and find that just a linen flat sheet over me, with perhaps a bit more over my feet, is comfortable. Also have a linen bottom sheet as well. It goes very soft as it ages.

It's more the mattress and memory foam toppers that cause heat. I have dorma Egyptian cotton sheets and they are lovely. Don't think they keep you cool though

[quote Abraid2]John Lewis has some.

It sells out online super quick but H&M do amazing linen bedding.

I think IKEA has some. I also found Egyptian cotton at Costco, but was quite pricey.

Wilkinson’s do the most amazing super soft and cool bed linen!

I spent a fortune on soak and sleep bed linen, and my spare set from Wilkos is much better quality and feel!

Oh and there’s huge threads on here about bed linen, which is where I got the soak and sleep recommendation Hmm
