We currently have original floor tiles in our hallway, which are a kind of very dark red. Trouble is they are too dark, our hallway is small enough anyway, but they make it feel much worse. I like the durability of tiles, ease of keeping clean etc, so wondered about painting them a lighter colour then maybe adding a cheerful runner. Has anyone attempted painting their floor tiles??
