New baby gift

Now we're soon to be allowed to visit people's houses, we're going to be able to meet my cousin's new baby for the first time! I'm so excited to finally see her and want to take some gifts for mother and/or baby. The baby is about 3 months now so I guess she'll be all set up with the basics. So, if you had a three month old what kind of gifts would you most appreciate?

I do have a 3 month old and something I would love is a sensory box as none of the baby groups are running.

Either home made food for parents or a pamper parcel including bubble bath, sprays, cans of pop, chocolate and biscuits, tea bags, scented candles and things along those lines. Baby probably has loads of gifts and parents will probably need pampering more.

I think I'd do a small hamper of chocolate, teas and nice bath and body stuff for mum.
As you don't really know what baby needs ( unless you ask) I think I'd put some money in a card so mum can choose something ( she might enjoy this) or choose to put in an account for her DC.

Thanks folks, seems a mother gift I'd definitely the popular option! I do like the idea of some homemade meals though....what do people think of that idea?

My baby is due in August. I've told people they are only allowed to visit if they being me food. I've heard too many stories of I was so tired and just lived on take away or didn't eat. I recommend lasagna.

A friend of mine brought meals and it was lovely. Cook (the frozen ready meal shop) is a good option for that.
