Does this need a stitch/A&E?

He’s hit his head on the edge of a unit whilst playing upstairs with his brother. It’s not bleeding anymore and he seems fine but I’m not sure if it needs attention due to it being a head wound?

I’ll attach a picture. Size of the wound is a few centimetres in length.

Probably needs to be glued at the very least.

Definitely go.

A&e will glue it rather than stitch it

Yes, it looks like it needs glueing, at least.

Needs glue. My dd had a very similar thing at the same sort of age and now aged 17 she is very proud of her weird scar!

Thanks everyone. I got the impression from the doctor I didn’t need to go as it was superficial but it was bleeding a lot and I just didn’t want to risk it. It was glued and were all okay.
