Will this one ever be guessed? Feels like it’s been hanging around forever. I’ve given one clue - male, solo, no longer with us. Should I give more clues? Feel like more lyrics aren’t going to help after posting all this but I’m sure some, if not all of you, must know the song.

Ok - here’s another clue. The video for this singer’s most famous song (not this one) featured a number of identically dressed women.
