What can I binge watch on Netflix?

I've had it for years and the only series I've ever 'binged' was Suits (have a massive crush on Harvey Specter so it was easy watching!!).

I never got through Breaking Bad [young kids, may revisit?]. I also stalled with Dexter.

I'm sure I did most of Arrested Development and same with Brooklyn Nine Nine but I never finished and certainly never binged?

@Jozen

Shtisel. An amazing family drama set in Jerusalem. Worth every subtitle!

Isn't this so good? I loved it. You're the only other person I know who's watched it.

I watched this too! Wonderful series. Eagerly awaiting the next run, apparently postponed temporarily due to Covid 19. One thing that took me aback a bit was the amount of smoking going on! But loved all the main characters. My daughter was also binge-watching at the same time , unknown to either of us, so our tastes are clearly similar.

I absolutely love designated survivor at the moment!!!

Dhalandchips · 28/06/2020 10:45

I loved Shtisel, so sad when it ended. Currently binging on once upon a time with the kids. Brooklyn 99 is funny. The Sinner is good, very twisty turny. I found myself drawn in to Tiger King too Hmm

@Awrite - yep - Dundee is there. So good. Just finished binge watching - utterly brilliant show hence my mistake with streaming as I've no idea of time or place at moment.

Happy (2 series) - A kidnapped girl's imaginary friend travels to find the girl's deadbeat dad to rescue her - bloody, gory and not safe for children

Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency (2 series) - Escaped CIA projects with odd powers are running around the USA, bumping into one another and creating chaos - bloody and not safe for work

iZombie (5 series) - gifted medical student becomes a zombie at a party and ends up working in a morgue, solving crimes by eating the brains of her 'customers', while her colleague tries to find a cure

Limitless (1 series) - Based on the film, a young waster cons the FBI into believing he can take the pills without ill effects (he takes an antidote given to him by a dark, Svengali figure) and solves crimes

Nobody has mentioned Heartland yet. 13 seasons in and a 14th in the pipeline. Should keep you going for a while Smile

whatsleep · 28/06/2020 11:34

Orphan black is really good, first episode is slightly flow but pretty addictive after that!

tiredandemosh1 · 28/06/2020 11:46

@AnnaNimmity

I'm several series into Schitt's Creek - really love it.

Have enjoyed Dead to Me too (recently binge watched the second series).

Working Moms (it's a bit rubbish) but I watched it all! .

now on Ozark but it hasn't gripped me yet.

i don't have a long attention span and have also stalled with Breaking Bad.

You sound exactly like me. I'm watching Ozark but finding it slow. I didn't like breaking bad.

Love:
schitts creek
Stranger
Safe
Dead to me

TheClitterati · 28/06/2020 11:50

Self Made - Madam CJ Walker is fab.

ghostmous3 · 28/06/2020 13:36

Anne with an E is lovely. Made me cry a lot Blush

The spy
Prison break
Unorthodox

Didn't get into breaking bad, stranger things, schitt s creek or mad men although I hear it s good.

LoopyGremlin · 28/06/2020 18:45

Definitely Money Heist, but as others have said, in Spanish with subtitles. Kept me going through the lockdown!

GooodMythicalMorning · 28/06/2020 18:48

Riverdale or Sex Education. Queer Eye fab too

Violetparis · 28/06/2020 18:56

In lockdown I've binge watched
Unorthodox
Jeffrey Epstein documentary
Trump doxumentary
White Lines (escapist drama rather than gritty drama)

Travellingraspberry · 28/06/2020 18:57

It's taken us about 5 years to get through Breaking Bad but now only got 2 episodes to go and definitely worth persevering! They could have cut out session 4 and half of 3 as well if you ask me...

Ginger1982 · 28/06/2020 19:16

Ozark without a doubt. But it takes until near the end of season 1 to really get going. Seasons 2 and especially season 3 are amazing!

RememberTheSunnierDays · 28/06/2020 19:37

So many! and if you like Suits, you may like the list below. FYI - I’ve done suits twice I loved it that much! Lol.

Schitt’s creek - love it
Workin moms - love this so much
Dynasty
Love is blind
Too hot to handle - mindless love island type programme
Mindhunter

I’m on the lookout for mindless tv, so following too!

Mangofandangoo · 28/06/2020 19:46

Money heist - watch it in Spanish with subtitles though because the dubbing is dire
