Monster Period returned after 6 months! [Perhaps TMI]

Really thought it was all over. The flooding through clothes, the feeling that I’m peeing myself but it’s actually blood, the clots that fall on the floor when I take my underwear off, the cramping and feeling like I’ve swallowed concreteAngry.

I had 6 blissful months, 6 months of nothing at all! Now it’s back with a vengeance, day 6 so far and no sign of abating unlike my normal cycle of 3 days very heavy then 2 days very light.

I even put off a hysterectomy when it looked like they were stopping on their own.

Anyone been through this (menopause obviously) and would like to tell me this is just a blip and I’m NOT back to square one?

Oh goodness, you poor thing. If you’re changing pads more than once in an hour, you need to go to a&e I think?

I’m sorry I’m not there yet (can’t bloomin wait 🙄😱) but I think maybe go back to the doctors at the very least. Flowers

Argh!!!!!!

I'm 45, almost 46, and have had my first 50 day cycle ie a missed period I think? So I'm a bit behind you.

But I feel your pain! Clots on the floor?? Poor you. Hot water bottle elbow bumps x
