I've lost my job and am supposedly "homeschooling" my 2 primary aged kids.

I'm not doing a good job, some days only the bear minimum gets done. We go out on bikes or for little walks that end up with them playing, so that's good, but some days they resist leaving the house & I think "it's ok to stay in".

I've applied for jobs, not even heard back from most of them (although ideally a job with a September start would be best, to coincide with schools hopefully reopening).

In the meantime I feel as though I'm in such a rut. I should be doing online courses and keeping my knowledge up to date/using this opportunity to expand what I can do.

Please kick me nicely (I honestly just want to sleep at the moment!).

Daily must do jobs-for you and the kids. Ours include the work set by their teachers daily, some maths, some English, somthing creative, somthing active, some helping around the house. I try to do Team TOMM cleaning each day up keep the house reasonable, walk the dog, do 'something' sociable for me. I work part time do on those days do to do lists for work to keep me going. Everyone likes ticking the jobs off and being able to do whatever they like once they are done.
