Wales beach brawl

Anyone know what happened or what's going on?

It happened yesterday I think, according to the BBC website anyway.

I just saw a clip on Sky news, no words just a film of a brawl, I can't post it I'm afraid but it's on the website.
I thought it was today, and just wondered what it was about.

Yesterday's news.

A load of twats came down and fought on the beach. It spread over snap chat and twitter apparently and they came from the valleys, Cardiff and surrounding areas.
I believe some people were stabbed.

It was just a sm clip so I thought it was something developing, there didn't seem to be a date on it.
At least it wasn't anything too bad.

I haven't seen any names. But the local FB page is fuming.

Were they fighting for the sake i.e been locked up too long or was there a general point to it?
I love Wales, but friends living there seem to be more fed up than we are.

I honestly don't know. It's ridiculous.
It's hard but I think Brits moan to much.
In Spain children were not allowed outside for 6 weeks. No walks. Nothing.

They were at it in Tynemouth and Cullercoats yesterday. Usual scratters.

Were they fighting for the sake i.e been locked up too long or was there a general point to it?. Lots of teenagers, too much drink & too much sun. Never going to be a great combination. Ogmore is shut now, so even the locals can’t get on there for a walk.

Although I did see something on a local fb page about a young lad who took himself down there and picked up 33 black bin bags of rubbish, which was a nice thing to do.

Aw, bless that lad, I hope he gets rewarded by the mayor or other civic person.
Such a shame it's closed to locals now, what selfish arseholes.
Can you still only drive for 5 miles, if so I bet the locals are very angry.

A teenager (17 maybe?) got injured. Lots of rumours flying about but general consensus is that he was bottled although, luckily, seems to have got away without anything life threatening. A couple of people were arrested. Just a complete shit show all round. DH is from just up the road, so lots of stuff on social media. Yes, the locals are very, very cheesed off. It’s a lovely area, so fantastic for walks etc. And now these idiots have spoiled it for everyone.
