Someone PLEASE tell me what sort of adapter thingy to buy to use the hosepipe with this tap!!

I cannot, for the life of me, get the one I currently have to sit on this flippin' tap properly & either I end up soaked trying to get water in the paddling pool or dd2 ends up with a trickle from the hose & I end up with a steady flow back up into the sink

It's doing my bloody nut in.

The girls dad needs to go to town tomorrow so I'll send him to Wilko for whatever it is I need (and hopefully they'll be in stock!)

I can't get the bit the water comes out of off it to put one of those on I don't think. I'll have a look now.

We used one like this with our mixer tap: tap connector

You just had to be careful that it was on tight enough. TBH we gave up on it in the end and just use watering cans (not for filling paddling pools though). Eventually, I'll get an outside tap fitted

Omg balloon trick looks genius!

I saw the balloon trick the other day. I've hunted where I'd normally keep stuff like that and not come across any. My friend who I'm seeing after work on Monday might have some though so I can try it.

@IJustWantFiveMinutesAlone I have an adapter that screws onto a tap (well, did in my old kitchen) but because of the curve of this one won't work so I'm not sure if one of those will work. I'll get the girls' dad to look for one though.
