Freezer packed up - can I refreeze veg?

Just my luck freezer has to pack up today. I've farmed most of my expensive meat and fish around to various neighbours' freezers, but I've masses of veg I don't know what to do with. I know peas can be re-frozen, but what about broccoli, cauli, carrots, spinach etc? Confused

Can anyone tell me?

I would refreeze them if they have been kept in the fridge.

does your household insurance contents cover freezer contents? the first50/100 probably wont be covered
If your frozen veg are outside the freezer they will probably start to go soggy let alone go off - you can of course cook them & refreeze them
they need to be kept in fridge & put back into freezer within a day or so

NOt worth claiming on insurance as excess is £100 and I'm pretty sure all my veg doesn't add up to that.

I've now squeezed most of the veg into my two fridges. I've also emptied DH's beer fridge and filled that.

Soonest delivery I can find for a new freezer is Monday, even though website says 'next day delivery'. Ordered it anyway.

You usually have to order by 3pm to get next day delivery. And weekends don't count as days.
The veg should be fine anyway.
