Hi mummies, I’ve just joined and no idea if I’m doing this right 😬
Please don’t judge me. I’m 17 and a first time mummy. My little girl Luna will be 10 months next week and she’s in a toddler bed with a bed guard for quite a few reasons. Anyway, tonight she managed to fall out of bed. She had somehow pushed the bed guard out and onto the floor and then fallen out I BELIEVE. We’re trying to find a new baby monitor as we can’t play back on our one anymore. Anyway. When I went in she was led onto of the bed guard on her tummy so I don’t know how she fell. She was crying but not like she had just really hurt herself. It was more of. I’ve woken up and want you cry. So I picked her up and gave her a cuddle and she’s gone straight back off to sleep. I don’t know how she landed, she doesn’t seem to be in any pain but I also don’t know if I should be concerned. She woke up at 4 and I’ve brought her in with us and stayed away to keep an eye on her but I’m not sure what to do in this situation

She will be fine. Toddler beds are low

You would know if she’d hurt herself

I’m sure she will be fine. You tend to know when they have hurt themselves by that age. Plus it’s a rite of passage for them to fall out of a bed. At least yours was a low toddler bed, my daughter fell off my very high double bed when she was little!!!!
