Eyebrow dye recommendations please.

At the start of lockdown I attempted to dye my eyebrows, went for dark brown. Was nervous but thought, I’m not going anywhere for the foreseeable so gave it a go. I was so disappointed!

My eyebrows are quite light so I thought it would take instantly but nope, tried again for longer, not much difference, tried again and left on for at least 20 mins but only seemed a bit tinted.

Can anyone recommend a really good one, preferably one I can order from Amazon?

Think its Eylure I have. Managed to tint the grey hairs in my eyebrows

@dementedpixie thank you. Which colour did you go for? I’m just wondering whether I should go for black instead of dark brown?

I bought a tinting kit from beautiful brows and lashes. It comes in all different colours and it’s a salon quality one, really good

I’ve got the Eyelure in dark brown. They look fab after 10 minutes with the dye on them. I personally wouldn’t risk black as it would definitely be too severe on me (very pale, dark brown hair).

Just for men. Much cheaper than eylure.

I’ll have to try again. Might check out Beautiful Brows, thanks @Absolutelunacy! I’m sure it’s Eyelure I have, I’m in the garden currently and far too warm to go upstairs to check. If not I’ll have a look for it on Amazon. @Absolutelunacy have they got a website?

@yearinyearout is this for eyebrows or hair dye? Can you tell me which one you’ve bought?

The new eyelure lots have changed how you apply it. The clear cream goes first,then wipe off and add the brown/black cream. I was mixing them together and couldn't work out why my brows didn't darken. The new application process made my brows really really dark, so be careful!

@CoronelSuarez thanks for the heads up. The tint I had definitely said to mix and I did it a variety of ways incase I was getting it wrong but nope, it was really disappointing.

I’ll bear in mind the new instructions though if I go down the eylure route.
