Anyone know how long the little bastards live?

I was kept awake by a dive-bombing, high buzzing little fucker for hours last night. I couldn't spot it. Is it worth burning down searching the bedroom today or is she likely to have died during the day (hope so!)

I didn't actually get bitten but that could be because I was slowly overheating and suffocating under the duvet with only the top of my head visible.

They do love me, in Greece last year, we actually watched one swerve around DH to get to me - I hate them.

I absolutely hate them too. I don't really care about being secretly bitten. It's when I see or hear them. I feel my heckles rising. I feel your pain. I have actually never knowingly had a visitation two nights in a row so I bet you will be fine.
