Got asked to review the tyre that I needed to replace on my car. I'm in a silly mood today, so...

I work in the auto trade and if someone posted such a review to our Trust Pilot I would be in fits of laughter. Knotting myself. Remembering it weeks later and recounting it to all my family and friends. You are clearly a comedy genius.

Hilarious Hmm

BarbaraofSeville · 24/06/2020 10:17

Well it's more useful than the reviews that say things like 'don't know, haven't used it yet'. Probably in response to the ridiculous pestering from companies after you've bought something from them.

I never review anything and don't take a lot of notice of reviews because a lot of reviews aren't worth anything. People review things without using them, the star ratings and expectations/requirements are mostly subjective and there's so much fakery and fraud in the system.

Amazon reviews are funnier.

Ah very good 👍

@MonkeyToesOfDoom I do love some of the Amazon reviews. I normally only do reviews on TripAdvisor for hotels, restaurants and bars that I've been to on holiday and am much more serious. When I got the email, I honestly thought they wanted me to review the fitting service too, until I clicked the link and found out it was just the tyre. At that point, my sarcastic side kicked in.

Lol.

It's more helpful than the reviews of recipes on BBC Food that are 'I didn't have A ingredient so I used B and I don't really like food cooked with X method so I used Y instead. It didn't really work, 2 stars'...you made a completely different dish!

I saw an amazon q&a saying ‘is this 30cm?’ The answer was ‘why are you asking me’ it made me chuckle.
