Does each child give a gift? Or do they give a usual birthday budget gift from both of them? Or a larger budget for a gift from both of them?
Plus, what do you give an 11 year old girl?

I give the usual budget birthday gift from them both. light boxes like this usually go down well

I would give one maybe slightly nicer gift from both of them. Honestly, no one needs more birthday junk to find something to do with when it's discarded like 4 days later.

I usually upgrade from my normal £10 gift to a £15 gift. And perhaps add an additional token book/pencil/similar so both kids can give a present (mainly to stop dd (3) from kicking up a stink when she hasn’t got something to give).
