What are your suggestions for an early morning walk and picnic?

Smoked salmon bagels, every time. But that might be because I have a (pregnancy induced) obsession with them at the moment 😂

flummingbird · 23/06/2020 19:50

Precooked American pancakes and berries. Maybe some syrup to drizzle Smile Fresh orange (or Buck's Fizz depending...)

Itisbetter · 23/06/2020 19:50

Bacon butty, hot tea, strawberries

Snigletted · 23/06/2020 19:50

Chocolate croissants.
Who has to carry it? You or someone else 😂

avocadoze · 23/06/2020 19:55

Veuve cliquot - probably a half bottle as a nod to the time of day, and a basket full of fresh croissants and pastries, covered with a nice thick linen cloth.

anxietrist · 23/06/2020 19:56

Ha ha @avocadoze

CoralReefer · 23/06/2020 19:57

Love the imagery of baskets and cloths but it will be backpacks between a couple of us Smile

I was just going to grab croissants, fruit, orange juice and coffee but I thought that probably wouldn’t be enough.

Cheese, salami, bread rolls. If you're walking a distance, you'll want something to keep you going.

BrieAndChilli · 23/06/2020 20:05

Pastries
Bacon if you have a food thermos to keep it warm and then put into rolls just before eating
Granola/overnight oats in jars with fruit and yogurt

LaszlosHat · 23/06/2020 20:05

Croissants stuffed with cream cheese, smoked salmon and sun dried tomatoes. Fruit, orange juice and a bottle of fizz cos I'm a lush.

BrieAndChilli · 23/06/2020 20:05

Egg muffins
Hard boiled eggs, ham and cheese slices to put in crossiants/crispy rolls

Laiste · 23/06/2020 20:10

Pastries.

And some pastries Grin

Oh and coffee i guess. With lots of sugar and cream for me.

Seriously though pastries are really filling and light to carry.

MsRinky · 23/06/2020 20:11

Frittata and cold sausages.

sleepwhenidie · 23/06/2020 20:13

Tortilla and pastries, berries and a lot of tea/coffee

Comtesse · 23/06/2020 20:15

Hard boiled eggs. YY to bagels.

newtb · 23/06/2020 20:16

Orange juice, croissants, chocolates (pains au chocolat), coffee and champagne.

DaphneFanshaw · 23/06/2020 20:17

Bacon rolls, cold sausages mixed fruit and tea, coffee and orange juice.
Or
Pastries, coffee, orange juice and mixed fruit.

DaphneFanshaw · 23/06/2020 20:18

Oooooooh tortilla and pastries sounds lovely.
Also loving the idea of salami and cheese rolls.

CoralReefer · 23/06/2020 20:21

Great. Thank you Smile
Tortilla and bagels as an addition sound good.
I also like the idea of overnight oats for me. I don’t think anyone else will be too keen but I’ll feel so bloated with too many pastry/bread items.
