Washing (non)dilemma

My load of laundry has just finished. Do I:

A) whack it in the mumble dryer?
B) stick it on the line and let it get darked on overnight*?
C) ignore it until the morning?

I have another load I could put on to wash if the machine was free...

*with inherent risk of spider willies fully acknowledged

ignore. this is wine time!

BeKindOrBeQuiet · 23/06/2020 18:49

Umm what's spider willies? 😂

RedskyAtnight · 23/06/2020 18:49

Don't know where you are, but if you stuck a load of the washing on the line here it would be dry before it got dark.
So i'd do that :)

onalongsabbatical · 23/06/2020 18:51

Definitely B, and then stick the next load on, then in the morning as soon as load one is dry you can put load two out.
God I can be boring.

WaxOnFeckOff · 23/06/2020 18:54

Stick it on the pulley and shove on another load.

PurBal · 23/06/2020 18:55

Dry it indoors if you have an airer?

Vaunting · 23/06/2020 18:57

Line then wine every time.

It might be dry before the spiders get their pants down.

IAintentDead · 23/06/2020 19:01

I would do (a)

I would totally recommend (b) but would never be bothered to do it myself

Northernsoullover · 23/06/2020 19:04

Put it on the line. It will probably dry before night.

DorotheaHomeAlone · 23/06/2020 19:06

Definitely b. It’ll be dry by bedtime.

Wheresthebiffer2 · 23/06/2020 19:10

"@BeKindOrBeQuiet Umm what's spider willies? 😂"

Don't you know that if you leave washing out all night on the line, it gets darked on, and spiders rub their willies on the clothes?

Which is why good people always bring the washing in before dusk.

emwithme · 23/06/2020 19:15

It's on the line, and by the feel of outside, will be plenty dry by the time the cats demand supper at 9.30 so I'll bring it in then.

And if not, I'll risk the spider willies and may even add the second load

Hehe mumble dryer..

laurelhedge · 23/06/2020 19:21

Stick it on the line and whack the next load in

BeKindOrBeQuiet · 23/06/2020 19:33

@Wheresthebiffer2 ahh now it makes sense. Don't know how I didn't know that

EggysMom · 23/06/2020 19:42

Does anything get darked on at this time of year? It barely gets dark overnight (so the spiders don't get their willies out).

Namechangex10000 · 23/06/2020 19:44

I’ve let mine be abused over night in so many ways of late. The shame

AlCalavicci · 23/06/2020 22:00

Mumble drier Grin it's waiting for the washer on another thread to escape and wander over .

I have just put a load on the line , it's hard to believe it's still day light at 9.45pm !
I don't care if mine gets darker on for a few hrs and lots of other people have got there's out so I am hoping someone else's washing is more attractive to the male spiders.

Do female spiders rub there fanjos on the washing ? Confused
