What blinds do you have or would recommend?

We’ve recently knocked down a wall so our kitchen/diner is now a kitchen/diner/family room. There are 3 windows. One above the kitchen sink and is quite big.

One is where the kitchen table used to sit and is just a standard sized window and the third one is in the new family area which was previously a spare bedroom.

All three on the same side and fairly close together.

I am not sure if we should go for Roman Blinds or wooden slatted blinds or something else? We definitely need something. Any recommendations.

We have Roman blinds, roller blinds, and Venetian blinds at different rooms in the house. The Venetians/slats are with wood or painted wood-effect (bathroom). All were bought online from Blinds2go, after getting lots of different samples through the post from them and measuring very carefully at least twice, using the guidance on the site and our own evaluation of the space. There prices were extremely good and we have been very happy with the service and quality. I know there are some unhappy customers, however, but it's only been a positive experience for us. Great option if you're happy and able to take full responsibility for design/measuring/installation.

Houzz.com, or .co.uk site now, is great for design inspiration

We have blinds that click into the rubber in the glass, they are my favourite blinds I've ever had, so easy and don't clog up the windowsill, you can slide them up and down depending on how you want them
